OctoShaper 1.2 is live on the Unity Asset Store. I call it the Colorful Update: graphs can now build their own meshes, color them, and give every instance its own look. It is a free update for everyone who already owns OctoShaper.
Procedural meshes. Until now a graph placed meshes you already had. In 1.2 it can make them: primitives, bevels, booleans, convex hulls, revolved profiles and geometry swept along a spline. Colors, textures and materials. Color ramps, texture sampling, height-map displacement and vertex colors are all nodes now. After a draw node you can override a material's color, texture or float per instance, without touching the source material. Colors, textures and materials guide
A better editor. Opening a graph now opens a Preview Stage, an isolated Scene view where you can try ideas without touching your open scene. Previews run asynchronously and cancel when you change a value, the toolbar is more compact, and the editor explains why a connection was rejected. Local assemblies. Author a prop once around the origin, then place it at every incoming transform with Place Local Assembly or the per-graph Local assembly mode. Assemblies and placement guide
AI integration. OctoShaper ships a skill and an optional Unity 6 command so a coding agent can search nodes, edit a graph and render previews, then refine the result render by render. You bring your own agent; OctoShaper does not include a model or a service. AI integration guide
